Quest is made from 100% recycled polyester, 75% of which comes from the Seaqual Initiative, an organization that collects yarn and other plastic waste from the oceans. The materials used in Quest have different properties and react differently to the heat they are exposed to during production. The result can be moiré-like shadows that are typically only visible from certain angles. Consider this a testament to the fact that the textile is based on recycled materials, thereby reducing the consumption of virgin raw materials, in this case, oil.
